Last updated: July 2026. These terms govern the website, Chrome extension, and merchant console.
Processor Freedom provides a software bridge that connects your business software to payment processing services. Payment processing itself is provided by the processor you contract with; their merchant agreement governs settlement, chargebacks, and funds.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during onboarding, for safeguarding your login, and for the activity that happens under your account. Merchant accounts are subject to underwriting and approval by the processor.
Use the service only for lawful payments for your own business. Don't attempt to process third-party payments, evade card-network rules (including surcharge rules), or interfere with the service's operation.
Where you enable surcharging or cash discounting, Processor Freedom implements the program per card-network rules and applicable state law, but you remain responsible for the pricing program your business runs.
The extension is free. Processing fees are set out in your quote and your processor agreement. Either party can end the relationship at any time; no early-termination fees apply on our side.
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Processor Freedom's liability is limited to the fees paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for acts of the processor, card networks, or your software vendor.
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified via the console or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
